Leclerc reveals brake issues behind his struggles in Montreal sprint qualifying
From the first laps of the day, Charles Leclerc never looked settled. While the SF‑26 showed strong baseline speed — Hamilton even topped SQ1 — Leclerc’s side of the garage was wrestling with a brake‑balance issue that left him unable to attack corners with confidence. He summarised his Sprint Qualifying bluntly: “It was a tricky Sprint Qualifying on my side. I haven’t been at ease in the car today, especially in terms of the brake balance, so we will look into it to find some improvements.
