McLaren rekindles Chrome glory for Silverstone showdown

03/07/2025 at 08:0902/07/2025 at 21:25 McLaren has taken another dazzling trip down memory lane with the launch of a shimmering new chrome livery – dubbed Legacy at Speed – set to daze fans at this weekend’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The team rolled out the eye-catching design on Wednesday during a high-energy fan event, McLaren Racing Live: London, held at Trafalgar Square. It marks the third time in as many seasons that McLaren has tapped into its chrome-themed heritage, reigniting nostalgia for the much-loved colour scheme that defined the team’s look between 2006 and 2014.
