Red Bull: No ‘evidence’ Mercedes will dominate in 2026

26/06/2025 at 13:0626/06/2025 at 13:22 As Formula 1 gears up for the seismic regulation shift that is set to take effect in 2026, Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko has poured cold water on claims that Mercedes will emerge as the dominant force in the new engine era. The upcoming regulation overhaul, one of the most significant in the sport’s history, will see major changes to both chassis and power units, with a particular emphasis on increasing the electric component of the latter to 50% while eliminating the MGU-H from the hybrid system.
