Buxton departs F1 TV to join FOX as IndyCar anchor

15/01/2025 at 10:2315/01/2025 at 10:23 Let the world know Will Buxton, one of Formula 1’s most recognizable broadcasters, has announced his departure from F1 TV to join FOX as the play-by-play commentator for the NTT IndyCar Series, beginning with the 2025 season. Buxton, who has been a key part of Formula 1 coverage for well over a decade, rose to prominence through his on-screen work for F1 TV and his appearances in Netflix’s hit docuseries Drive to Survive. Now, The Briton is set to bring his enthusiasm and expertise to IndyCar, calling races alongside former drivers-turned commentators, James Hinchcliffe and Townsend Bell. A Return to His Roots This...
