Alpine signs Aron as reserve driver for 2025 F1 season

With just a single race left in 2024, Formula One's Enstone-based outfit Alpine has announced that F2 driver Paul Aron will become its 2025 reserve driver. The 20-year-old Estonian is currently competing in his first season of the Formula 2 championship with Hitech Pulse-Eight. Aron previously raced in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Prema Racing, coming third in the standings. Beforehand, he competed in the Formula Regional European Championship for Prema in 2021 and 2022, in which he ended both series in third. He also won the rookie cup in the 2019 Italian F4 Championship and placed third in the regular standings. Aron is a former member of the Mercedes Junior Team. Reflecting...
