Alonso delays arrival in Brazil due to illness
Fernando Alonso will miss Thursday’s events at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix due to treatment on an illness that also hampered him in Mexico City. The Spaniard was absent from his media duties last week as Aston Martin said he was feeling unwell, but he returned to the car for FP2 and completed the rest of the race weekend. Alonso retired from the grand prix in Mexico early on due to a brake issue.
