McLaren performs quickest tyre change in Mexico

Despite having failed to leave Austin with a podium finish, McLaren proved the quickest in the pit lane at the United States Grand Prix, having performed the fastest tyre service with Lando Norris. Last year saw McLaren set a pit stop world record, by changing tyres in a scarcely believable time of 1.80 seconds at the Qatar Grand Prix. This year, the papaya team has been slow to get going, but they picked up the pace at the Belgian Grand Prix. Since the Spa F1 round back at the end of July, the Woking-based outfit registered the DHL Fastest Pit Stop in three of the six races and were second fastest in the other three.
