'Matter of time', claims Alonso regarding Bortoleto's future
Two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso insists that it is only a 'matter of time' when he was asked of Formula 2 driver Gabriel Bortoleto's future. Gabriel Bortoleto is on the driving roster of two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso’s A14 Management. The Brazilian secured the title in Formula 3 in his rookie season last year, and he currently sits first in the standings in Formula 2, leading the championship by 34.5 points with two rounds to go in 2024. That prowess has seen Bortoleto linked with a seat at Sauber in 2025 and Alonso heaped heavy praise upon the Brazilian.
