Ricciardo still fits in at ‘junior' F1 team – CEO

Aug.5 RB CEO Peter Bayer insists Daniel Ricciardo still fits into the 'big picture' at the Faenza based ‘junior' team. F1 team consultant Dr Helmut Marko has been hinting for months now that, at 35, the Australian driver no longer fits the profile. 'The shareholders have made it known that it is a junior team and we have to act accordingly,' Marko said recently. Ricciardo, however, insisted just before the start of the August break that he actually does not see RB as Red Bull's ‘junior team'.
