Formula 1 points top ten system to remain unchanged

Formula 1 will retain the existing points system rather than rewarding more finishers beyond the top 10, the governing Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) said in a statement. The Formula 1 commission, which includes all teams and key stakeholders, deferred in April a decision on whether to award points more widely.
