Two new venues to host 2024 Sprints as F1 announces schedule

Article To news overview © XPBimages Formula 1 has announced the six races that will feature Sprint races in the 2024 season, as China returns to the calendar with a Sprint. The Shanghai International Circuit has not hosted F1 since 2019 - the 1,000th World Championship race - due to COVID-19 and political reasons, but is set to return in 2024, and will host the first Sprint of the season on April 20th. Four of the venues remained unchanged from 2023 with the Austrian, the United States, São Paulo and Qatar Grands Prix featuring the shorter Sprint event. The only other change from 2023 for 2024 is Miami hosting its first Sprint, with the Azerbaijan event reverting back to just the Grand...
