'Red Bull has promised Lawson F1 seat for 2025'

Liam Lawson made his Formula 1 debut at Zandvoort four Grands Prix ago after AlphaTauri driver Daniel Ricciardo broke a metacarpal in a crash. The Red Bull junior is doing extremely well, finishing ahead of teammate Yuki Tsunoda in three of the four races. Yet Lawson was not given a permanent seat by Red Bull Racing for 2024: the rookie will have to make do with a role as a reserve driver. This could be different in 2025, as a deal is said to have been struck with Lawson.
