Furious David Croft unhappy with Daniel Ricciardo decision

Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft has jumped to the defence of ex-AlphaTauri driver Nyck de Vries, who has been replaced by Daniel Ricciardo for the remainder of 2023. Whilst it had been heavily speculated during the British Grand Prix, it was announced by AlphaTauri and Red Bull on Tuesday that Ricciardo would be taking the rookie's place, starting at the Hungarian Grand Prix next weekend. Ricciardo was taking part in a Pirelli tyre test for Red Bull when the driver change was confirmed, with the Aussie having impressed the Austrians at Silverstone.
