Fernando Alonso issues warning to F1 CEO and Liberty Media

Fernando Alonso has warned Formula 1 that it needs to be careful not to overwork the teams as they mull adding more races to the calendar. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has suggested that he would like to exploit the markets in Africa and Asia after the addition of a Vegas race to next year’s calendar, and even insinuated that there could eventually be 30 races a year. Races like the Belgian Grand Prix and the Monaco Grand Prix look under threat as a result of the pinnacle of motorsport leaning more heavily on other demographics.
