Red Bull confirm fuel system vacuum issue caused DNF

Red Bull have confirmed it was a fuel system vacuum issue that caused both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez to retire late on in the Bahrain Grand Prix. The team looked to be heading towards a healthy amount of points during the first grand prix of the 2022 season before failures to both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez‘s car meant they ended pointless. Reigning World Champion Verstappen looked to be in with a chance of a race win having been the only driver able to get close to race leader Charles Leclerc. However, with four laps to go he was forced to retire having also battled steering issues. Perez meanwhile span out on Turn 1 after his car ran out of power. The team have now...
