McLaren shakes down new MCL36 in Barcelona

McLaren's new MCL36 enjoyed a systems check filming day at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona on Monday. The Woking-based outfit the second team to roll out its 2022-spec contender on the day, with Haas giving its new VF-22 its track baptism in the morning. McLaren shook down its Mercedes-powered car ahead of F1's pre-season testing that will kick on Wednesday in Spain. Lando Norris was first to sample the MCL36 whose bodywork did not feature the logo of team sponsor Velo which had been present at the car's launch last week.
