Resta declares Haas VF-22 creation a ‘great success'

Simone Resta has already declared Haas’ project in tackling the complex new Formula 1 regulations as a “great success”. Along with the other nine teams, Haas have had to produce a completely new car for the 2022 season to comply with revised rules designed to make racing closer and more exciting. That was the American-owned team’s main focus throughout 2021 as they effectively wrote off last season, deciding not to upgrade the VF-21 in order to create a challenger that could put them right back in the thick of the midfield battle.
