Jos Verstappen set to make rally debut this month

Jos Verstappen is set to make his rally debut at the first round of the Belgian Rally Championship, the Rally of Haspengouw on 26 February. The father of 2021 Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen, was to drive at the recent Dubai Autodrome 24 Hours race but pulled out. Last year he was also set to do the Belgian series a shot, but COVID-19 scuppered those plans. Now the official Verstappen website reports that 'Jos will finally drive on the Belgian roads with his Citroën C3 R5 (Rally2-car) prepared by DG Sport Competition, together with Kris Botson as experienced Belgian navigator by his side.'
