Two Michael Schumacher cars set for auction

Two cars associated with seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher are set to be auctioned off next week. Schumacher’s illustrious career started at the Jordan team in 1991, when he was fielded in to replace Bertrand Gachot, who had been jailed for 18-months after assaulting a Taxi driver. Schumacher made his debut at the Belgian Grand Prix where, ironically, Gachot had bet his mechanics that he would take pole position. The German would then claim his first world championships with Benetton in 1994 and 1995.
