Just hours into his new role, FIA President, Mohammed Ben Sulayem promises that lessons will be learned from the Abu Dhabi fiasco. Taking over the reins from Jean Todt as FIA president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem found himself embroiled in the fall-out from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from the outset. The evening before the election, Ben Sulayem was present at the prize-giving gala which runner-up, Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff had chosen to boycott.
