More details about F1's new engine formula revealed

Article To news overview © Getty Images/Red Bull Contentpool Formula 1 will retain a 1.6-litre V6 engine while eliminating the MGU-H and increasing electrical power to 350kW under the new cycle starting in 2026, it has been confirmed. Existing and prospective manufacturers have been involved in talks throughout the year to settle on the new regulations, with a meeting at the Italian Grand Prix described as "positive", adding that "some details remain to be addressed, however we expect these to be resolved in the coming weeks".
