Dubai Autodrome pays homage to F1's glorious past

Dubai Autodrome went back to the future this past weekend, with some of the most iconic cars of Formula 1's history in action. As F1 heads to neighbouring Abu Dhabi for a tantalising 2021 world championship finale, the Dubai Autodrome tipped its hat to the history of the sport. This is what they said of the event: Dubai Autodrome and Gulf Historic celebrated the UAE's 50th anniversary by bringing history back to life. The Historic Dubai Grand Prix Revival paid homage to the first Grand Prix event held in the region; the 1981 Dubai Grand Prix. The event, held on the 3rd of December 2021, featured Historic F1 and Le Mans Group C race cars from the 70s, 80s and 90s. The entry list featured...
