F1 reveals new graphics to showcase hybrid technology

Article To news overview © F1 Formula 1 has revealed the first look at the new graphics that will be rolled out, starting from this weekend's Sao Paulo Grand Prix, in order to boost the visibility of the sport's incredibly efficient hybrid engines. The 1.6 litre turbocharged V6s were introduced in 2014, and use an array of energy recovery systems utilising heat and kinetic energy to boost its power output. The engines produce around 1000 horspower, and only use 100 kilogrammes of fuel to get through a race distance. With F1's eye now firmly on sustainability as the sport introduces a new fuel mixture next season, the aim is to ever increase the efficiency of the engines used in the sport....
