Chinese GP extends F1 race deal until 2025

The FIA Formula One World Championship calendar will feature the Chinese Grand Prix until at least 2025 after the sport extended its contract with the organizers of the race that takes place in Shanghai. China joined the pinnacle of motorsport back in 2004, and has hosted a race every year until last year when it was not possible to include China on the calendar, due to ongoing pandemic conditions. The race on the challenging International Shanghai Circuit has been called off for this year again as the world is still grappling with recurring and emerging disease outbreaks.
