Domenicali: Formula 1 is firing on all cylinders
Demand for Miami Grand Prix tickets ahead of the second United States-based race's debut next year already exceeds capacity several times over, Formula 1's owners reported on Thursday. Miami in May will be the second U.U. round, joining Austin, Texas, whose race last month reported a record three-day crowd of 400,000 with a Sunday attendance of 140,000. The popularity of the Netflix F1 documentary series 'Drive to Survive' is credited with a big rise in the sport's popularity in the United States. Greg Maffei, president and CEO of commercial rights holder Liberty Media, told analysts on a third quarter earnings call that some 70% of the crowd in Austin had been attending their first grand...
