Glock: ‘Mercedes can no longer rely completely on Bottas'

Now his departure has been confirmed, Timo Glock does not believe Mercedes can 'rely completely' on Valtteri Bottas. Glock believes Sergio Perez has been performing better in his ‘support' role at Red Bull than Bottas has managed for Mercedes this season, and that the Finn has not been as fast as he could have been at certain points. Bottas has been hamstrung by several engine penalties coming his way in the past few races, which have left him needing to recover through the field to have any effect on races.
