Perez: F1 started as a crazy project from a crazy kid

Red Bull driver Sergio Perez seems to have it made for the next few years in Formula 1 thanks to his performances for his new team, however there were times when the 'crazy kid' was severely tested but he never gave up on the dream Sergio Pérez Mendoza, aka Checo, began his motor racing journey through karting in the mid nineties, but got serious when he was drafted into the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2010, the Mexican was a hotshot many were watching at the time.
