The Red Bull gesture that Honda 'really appreciated' in Austin

Article To news overview © Red Bull Contentpool/Getty Images Honda chief Toyoharu Tanabe has said that the company "really appreciated" Red Bull's gesture to send Masashi Yamamoto up onto the podium at the United States Grand Prix, following Max Verstappen's win. Honda have supplied Red Bull with engines since 2019 but will bow out of the sport at the end of the season, as a "programme of cooperation" between the two parties eases the transition to the newly-formed Red Bull Powertrains.
