Vettel longer at Aston Martin? 'The team wants to be successful'

Sebastian Vettel will continue to drive for Aston Martin in 2022 and is not ruling out a longer involvement with the team. The German sees potential in Aston Martin and is keen to remain part of the project. The Aston Martin name is back in Formula 1 in 2022 and for that the team chose four-time world champion Vettel, as the new figurehead. The partnership is still not quite what was expected of it, as after years of being 'best of the rest', the team lost the connection to McLaren and Ferrari in 2021.
