Bottas: "As a team we got solid points"

Valtteri Bottas played a supportive role in the Dutch Grand Prix and finished third. The Mercedes driver led the race at one point, and by doing so slowed down Max Verstappen but ultimately it proved unsuccessful with the Dutchman winning in front of his home fans.  Whilst Bottas followed those team orders during the race, towards the end of the race the Finnish driver tried to steal the fastest lap point away from Hamilton. The Brit subsequently pitted and regained the point for the World Championship.  Bottas reacts  In the interview after the race, Bottas claimed that he didn't go for the fastest lap.
