Full results FP1 GP Belgium | Verstappen leaves fastest time to Bottas

Valtteri Bottas was the fastest driver in the first free practice for the Belgian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen finished second as drops on the track prevented him from setting an even quicker time. Pierre Gasly impressed with a third place, while Lewis Hamilton has a lot of work to do after his eighteenth place in FP1. The Ferrari drivers found themselves back in fourth and fifth place, with Sergio Perez behind them. The Mexican again had to concede eight tenths to his faster team mate Verstappen.
