Aston Martin analysing data to decide whether to proceed with appeal

Article To news overview © Aston Martin Aston Martin are still weighing up whether or not to go ahead with lodging a formal appeal against Sebastian Vettel's disqualification from the Hungarian Grand Prix. The German driver finished second in the race, having kept up the pressure on race winner Esteban Ocon throughout, but was disqualified afterwards. Race scrutineers weren't able to extract the required litre of fuel from Vettel's car, with the technical regulations stipulating that cars must contain this amount after the race in order to provide a sample. With Vettel's car only containing 300 millilitres, this was a clear cut case of failing to meet the requirements of the rulebook....
