Alpine confirms: 'Factory focus has fully shifted to 2022'

Alpine is currently involved in a fierce battle for fifth place in the Constructors' Championship with AlphaTauri and Aston Martin. The French formation is in seventh place, but if they can score nine points more they would suddenly be in fifth place. Nevertheless, Alpine has decided to stop the further development of the 2021-powered car. Marcin Budkowski confirmed this to Marca. "We have done a lot of work with Enstone and Viry since the start of the season to develop the car.
