Mercedes to follow: "Clearly Red Bull is faster"

Valtteri Bottas had to fear for his podium position at the end of the Styrian Grand Prix. Where he drove a large part of the race in third place, Sergio Pérez made another attempt to pass Bottas. Red Bull Racing brought in the Mexican for an extra pit stop in the closing stages of the race to beat Bottas, but it turned out they did this too late. This left the Finnish driver with a sufficient lead, although it was still exciting for Bottas. "I could see him in the mirrors and at the beginning of the last lap he was at 1.5 seconds.
