'I don't think Pirelli are at fault,' says Hamilton
While title rival Max Verstappen insists the blame for the Baku failures does not lie with the teams, Lewis Hamilton believes Pirelli is not at fault. Along with the on-track battle, 2021 is shaping up to be a season of off-track excitement also, as Mercedes and Red Bull continue to trade verbal punches. With the two already at odds over bendy wings, the Baku tyre failures have given the pair something else to bicker over, both claiming the moral high ground.
