Stop killing technical innovation in Formula 1

McLaren CEO Zak Brown recently openly discussed the concept of relaxing technical restrictions in Formula 1 following the introduction of the operational cost cap. The concept has been divisive in that it has been both widely supported and condemned by teams, media experts and fans alike. Technical innovation is a fundamental cornerstone of F1 and one on which the very basis of the sport was founded.
