Grosjean on track with Mercedes despite IndyCar clash

Romain Grosjean is still set for an outing with Mercedes next month, despite the latest changes to the F1 schedule resulting in a clash between the French Grand Prix and an IndyCar event at Road America. This year Grosjean moved to the US open wheel series after ending his ten-season F1 career following a horrific accident at Bahrain at the end of 2020. The 35-year-old Frenchman will start his third IndyCar race this weekend from pole position for the first time after coming top in qualifying for the GMR Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
