Track limits rules become more strict for Portimao

Article To news overview © Pirelli Track limits for the Portuguese GP have been further tightened up after Race Control found further areas the drivers were exploiting during Friday practice. Originally, three corners were identified as particularly contentious zones, with Turn 1, Turn 4 and 15 exit kerbs being used as the outer track limit. Turn 14 has now been added to that list, with the track limits there being defined. Drivers must ensure that they keep at least one wheel on the white and red kerb. If a driver exceeds this kerb in practice or qualifying, his laptime will be deleted. The drivers will then be given three chances during the race. Should a driver exceed the limits at...
