Wolff backs Aston Martin: "They do have a valid point".

There is a lot to be said for this year's rule changes. Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff does not rule out the possibility that these rule changes were introduced to slow down Mercedes. New regulations disadvantage Mercedes and Aston Martin For years Mercedes was the leader in Formula 1, but as of this year Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen seem to be threatening the German team. The new rule changes seem to work in favour of the cars with high rake, like the Red Bull. Teams like Mercedes and Aston Martin with low rake are at a disadvantage.
