Silverstone to insist on vaccine passports for fans

Article To news overview © Mercedes While the organisers of the British Grand Prix are optimistic that fans will be able to attend the event in person in July, they have joined the list of governing bodies from other major sports in the U.K. who are insisting on the use of vaccine passports. With the two races conducted at Silverstone last year being run under closed doors, this season's race held the promise of fans returning to circuit. While the target of having fans return to the venue very much remains in place, the use of COVID vaccine passports is an added dynamic that fans will have to consider.
