Marko: We have not seen Mercedes' true potential

Despite their troubled pre-season outing, Helmut Marko says Mercedes cannot be written off as F1 has yet to see the W12's 'true potential'. Mercedes are paying a price for the reduced pre-season, Formula 1 bosses deciding last year to cut testing to just three days to save money. Surprisingly, that has hurt Mercedes the most. The team that in the past few years has been the most prolific came up short due to reliability issues and spins. And it was not just Mercedes but also customer team Aston Martin that suffered.
