Mazepin shakes down new Haas VF-21 in Bahrain
Haas rookie Nikita Mazepin shook down the US outfit's 2021 charger in Bahrain on Thursday, a day ahead of the start of pre-season testing at Sakhir. Haas fired up its Ferrari-powered VF-12 for the very first time on Wednesday, having been unable to conduct the traditional fire-up moment at its base in Branbury to where Ferrari's engineers could not travel due to the COVID-19 restrictions and quarantine measures. Today's filming day outing at Sakhir also marked Mazepin's first laps onboard a Haas car.
