Pirelli reveal full 2022 tyre test schedule

Pirelli have published their full testing schedule for the 2022 18-inch prototype tyres, which features every team except Williams. The first tests took place last week at Jerez in Spain, where Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz completed three days of running in a specially-adapted ‘mule’ car. Between them, they completed 320 laps of the circuit near Cadiz on slicks, intermediates and wets, with the track doused with water by tank trucks as required. Next up will be Ferrari again on Tuesday March 30 in Bahrain, two days after the opening grand prix of the 2021 season in Sakhir.
