Williams CEO sees own driver becoming world champion

George Russell sat in the Mercedes for one race last year. The long negotiations between Hamilton and the German racing stable also led to speculation. Would Russell strengthen the team of Mercedes this year? In the end that did not happen but Williams CEO Jost Capito says he has seen positive things. Capito told German RTL that he saw Russell change. "When he drove the Mercedes last year, it catapulted his confidence back to the top."
