McLaren sets launch date for Mercedes-powered MCL35M

McLaren has become the latest team to set a launch date for its 2021 Formula 1 challenger. The team has confirmed that the MCL35M will be unveiled during a launch show at its Technology Centre in Woking on February 15 at 19:00 GMT. Notification of the MCL35M’s launch date comes a day after the team confirmed the car successfully fired-up for the first time. Despite relatively stable regulations McLaren revealed that its MCL35M is “essentially a new car” owing to the changes needed to accommodate new power unit partner Mercedes.
