Sainz makes Ferrari debut in Fiorano test

Carlos Sainz has taken to the track for the first time in Ferrari colours in a private test at Fiorano. Driving the same 2018 SF71H used by team-mate Charles Leclerc on Tuesday, Sainz will complete a full day of running today before returning to the track on Thursday morning. Article continues under video The Spaniard joined the Scuderia from McLaren and, with pre-season testing reduced to just three days this year, time which must be divided between both drivers, these sessions will prove invaluable in bringing the Spaniard up to speed with the working practices of Ferrari.
