Mercedes eyes Danish talent to compete against Red Bull juniors

Mercedes and Red Bull Racing are using the winter break to recruit new talents for their own junior programmes. The German world champion is very close to acquiring Frederik Vesti, while Helmut Marko has already finalised the arrival of Ayumu Iwasa. According to Ekstra Bladet, Vesti and Mercedes have been in contact for several months. The Danish driver was active in Formula 3 last year.
