Sir Frank Williams discharged from hospital

Sir Frank Williams, co-founder of the Formula 1 team that bears his name, has been discharged from hospital, his family have confirmed. It was revealed on December 15 that the 78-year-old had been admitted to hospital though no further information was provided. On Thursday (December 24), his family confirmed in a short statement that he “is now on the mend at home” after being discharged from hospital. “The Williams family would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time, and to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” concluded the message.
