Hamilton glad to finish Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton has admitted he was glad to reach the finish of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after a physically demanding race. The event marked Hamilton’s return after sitting out the Sakhir Grand Prix as a result of a positive COVID-19 test. Heading into Sunday’s race the 35-year-old noted that he was not physically 100 percent. The seven-time champion ran third throughout Sunday’s race, never mounting a challenge to team-mate Valtteri Bottas in second, let alone race winner Max Verstappen.
