Sato to test for AlphaTauri

AlphaTauri will field an all-Japanese line-up next week when Marino Sato joins Yuki Tsunoda at the Young Driver Test. Sato, who has just finished his first season of the F2 Championship, driving for the Trident team, began karting in 2004 and in 2011 he moved to Europe to start his single-seater career in the Italian F4 Championship in 2015. He graduated to Formula 3 in 2017 and in 2019 he took nine wins in the Euroformula Open Championship to claim the title against strong opposition like Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda and he made his F2 debut that same year.
